Rana Daggubati (Telugu: రాణా దగ్గుబాటి) is an Indian actor and Producer. Better known as Rana, was born on 14 December 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is the son of film producer D. Suresh Babu, the latter being the elder son of D. Ramanaidu. Venkatesh (Tollywood star)is D. Ramanaidu's younger son. Rana is also nephew of another Tollywood actor Nagarjuna. His cousin is actor Naga Chaitanya. Other relatives include actors Sumanth and Sushanth.
He made his acting debut with Leader. The film, written and directed by Sekhar Kammula, hit the theatres on 19 February 2010.[2] He made his Bollywood debut with Dum Maaro Dum which released on 22 April 2011. He had previously produced the documentary film A Belly Full of Dreams for which he received the National Award for Best Film.[3]
